Refund & Return Policy – Lavabrush AB

We want all customers to be satisfied with their purchase. However, because Lavabrush products are used in painting environments and can become soiled through use, we apply a strict return policy to ensure all returned items remain hygienic and resellable. By placing an order at lavabrush.com, you agree to the conditions below.

1. Right of withdrawal – 14 days (EU/Sweden)

Consumers within the EU have a statutory 14-day right of withdrawal under the Swedish Distance and Off-Premises Contracts Act (Distansavtalslagen).

  • The 14-day period begins the day you receive the goods.
  • To use the right of withdrawal, you must notify us by email before the 14-day period expires at: info@lavabrush.com
  • You must return the product to us within 14 days from notifying us.
  • Return shipping is paid by the customer.

2. Condition of returned items (strict, lawful)

To receive a refund, returned items must meet all of the following:

✔ Unused and fully clean
✔ No paint, dirt, water or signs of operation
✔ All original parts, packaging and manuals included
✔ Returned in fully sellable condition

Because Lavabrush involves paint and water, returns that show signs of use cannot be refunded, even if cleaned by the customer.
If the product is returned in a condition that prevents resale, we may:

  • Reject the return and send the item back, or
  • Offer a partial refund based on the product’s reduced value

This is permitted under EU law (Article 14 of Directive 2011/83/EU).

3. Products that cannot be returned

  • Used or tested Lavabrush units
  • Items with missing parts or damage
  • Products that have been filled with water or exposed to paint
  • Sale items or promotional products
  • Gift cards

4. Return procedure

Returns must be approved before you send the product back.
 1. Email info@lavabrush.com with order number and reason for return
 2. If approved, we provide the return address and instructions
 3. You arrange and pay for return shipping
 4. Pack the item safely – damage in transport is the customer’s responsibility

Items sent without prior approval cannot be accepted.

5. Refunds

When returned goods are received and inspected:

  • If the item meets the return requirements: we refund the full product price
  • If the item is used, damaged or incomplete: refund may be refused or reduced

Refunds are made to the original payment method within 10 business days of approving the return.

Shipping fees (original or return) are not refunded unless required by law.

6. Defective or incorrect products

If you receive a defective or incorrect item:

  • Contact us within a reasonable time
  • Email: info@lavabrush.com with photos and order number
  • We will repair, replace or refund according to Swedish consumer law 

7. Commercial purchases

This refund policy applies only to consumers.
Returns from companies or professional buyers are not accepted unless agreed in writing.
