  • Remove the lid by turning the handle to the open position.

Fill with water to a level between the minimum and maximum markings.

  • Both the crank and the drive shaft are marked to indicate the correct direction of rotation.

When connecting a screwdriver, use the back end of a bit—preferably a long bit.

Before starting, check that the screwdriver rotates in the correct direction (see marking on the drive shaft).

The screwdriver should not rotate too fast; 300–400 rpm is recommended.

  • Note: Start the rotation before inserting the brush between the bristles.

Move the brush sideways and vertically during cleaning.

Clean in 10–15 second intervals. Repeat as needed until the brush is completely clean.

Wipe off excess water using a soft cloth or similar.

  • Insert and attach the round brush holder to the Brush Washer.

(Ensure the pin fits into the hole on the left-hand side.)

Round brushes should be cleaned in the position above this brush.

Move the brushes up and down over the round brush while the large brushes are rotating.

  • When brushes are no longer getting properly clean, it’s time to replace the water.

Drain the dirty water using the bottom valve. Do not pour it down the drain—dispose of it properly at a recycling facility.

The container should be rinsed with each water change.

Add a few deciliters of clean water, rinse thoroughly, and drain. Repeat several times.

Proper maintenance ensures reliable performance and extends the Brush Washer’s lifespan.

  • Be cautious to prevent clothing, jewelry, hair, etc., from getting caught in the Brush Washer.

The Brush Washer is intended only for cleaning brushes used with
    water-based paint.

Use water only—never run the Brush Washer dry, as this may cause damage.

Absolute watertightness cannot be guaranteed during careless transport.

  • Follow the instructions for cleaning and maintenance to ensure long service life and smooth daily use of your Brush Washer.

  • At Lavabrush, we care about the environment, and we hope you do too. Microplastics from paint can pass through water treatment plants and end up in nature, with humans and animals as the final stop.

Therefore, never pour contaminated water down the drain!

Do not rinse brushes under running water!
